We also now have several standing desks and various kneeler chairs and exercise balls, to encourage everyone to avoid the issues that accompany sitting for long periods of time. We've still got work to do, but here are a few things we do to minimise and reverse our contribution to climate change:
Where we can, we no longer use airfreight to deliver stock and instead opt for sea freight instead. Yes, this means that products take longer to reach us, but our purchasing team simply order them sooner. We use as little energy as possible in our offices - and can confirm that fleece blankets keep you very toasty during the winter months.
We never throw away a sheet of paper if it's blank on one side. We recycle as much of our waste as possible - and have a variety of coloured bins to prove it. These are just a few things that matter to us and a few things that we do. We are well aware that there is a lot more we can do and will be doing to support people and planet, in equal measure, as we journey forward.
